Following the path of the Dharma (Buddha’s teaching) involves more than just determination. It means learning to recognize and nurture five natural qualities of the mind: confidence (or faith), energy, mindfulness, concentration, and wisdom. These qualities — known as the Five Faculties — work together and support each other. Confidence energizes us, energy helps sustain mindfulness, mindfulness steadies the mind for concentration, and concentration creates the conditions for wisdom to arise.

This retreat will explore how to grow these strengths and see how they shape our experience — both during the retreat and in everyday life.
